Protest gathering at Nis University -- 4,000 students of Nis University gathered at one minute to noon in front of the Faculty of Philosophy to protest against the current regime. They had to use electricity from a nearby pub to stage their meeting from an improvised platform (in fact an old truck set up in the middle of the road), since they were denied entrance into faculty premises. The conclusion of the gathering was a decision to persist in Ghandian resistance and to refrain from using violence in their attempt to topple the current regime. Opposition rally reported.
